JUST ARRIVED Pick up personal works by actors, singers, and writers from our “new” shelf this week. Dolly on Dolly collects interviews from throughout Dolly Parton’s career to showcase her life, stories, and opinions. Actor Alan Alda reflects on the essentials of good communication in If I Understood You, Would I Have This Look on My Face. In Their Lives is a collection of essays from a variety of artists – from Jane Smiley to Rosanne Cash to David Duchovny – on how a particular Beatles song became significant to each of them. Finally, encourage your own creative endeavors with Star Branch Spiral Fan, which draws inspiration from these four universal shapes for a number of unique projects.
