JUST ARRIVED  In the mood for a new novel?  We have the latest by Iris Johansen (Double Blind,) Anne Tyler (Clock Dance,) Linda Castillo (A Gathering of Secrets,) and Danielle Steel (The Good Fight.)  You might also want to check out the latest by Debbie Macomber, the summer-set Cottage by the Sea – or, likewise, Orly Konig's Carousel Beach, as both books deal with women recovering from loss.  America for Beginners also features a woman whose son has just died, following her as she travels across an ocean and then across the United States in search of answers about his life.  Closer to home, two men – one a former baseball player, the other a blacksmith at the Farmer's Museum – grapple with the past and the future in Cooperstown in Mark Di Ionno's Gods of Wood and Stone.  For something more light-hearted, try Kill the Farm Boy, Delilah Dawson and Kevin Hearne's spoof-homage to the fantasy quest genre.  You can also check out an unconventional ghost story in Seanan McGuire's The Girl in the Green Silk Gown, a sequel to Sparrow Hill Road.  Finally, if you're looking for murder mysteries and suspense, take a look at Safe Houses by Dan Fesperman, Stay Hidden by Paul Doiron, or The Ruin by Dervla McTiernan.
