AUGUST EVENTS  Join us for an all-ages family concert with Nan Hoffman next Monday the 7th at 11 AM.  Children will have two opportunities to create toys at the library this month.  Those 9 and up can make their own fidget spinner on Thursday the 10th at 11 AM, while those 8 and up can make slime on Thursday the 24th at 11 AM.  Adults can come to a crafting class on Thursday the 10th at 2 PM.  Social hour is at 2 PM on the 9th, and movie night, featuring a film about a bossy baby, will be on Thursday the 17th at 5:30.  The final library/MOOD concert of the summer will be on Thursday the 24th at 6 PM.  To round out the month, our family book club will be reading The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint Exupéry and making a wooden plane on Thursday the 31st at 5 PM.  New members are always welcome.

BOOK SALE  Thank you to everyone who helped make the book sale a success, whether you were a member of the Friends of the Library, a volunteer who helped with the setup or takedown, or a purchaser of books.  The proceeds raised will help the library do many things over the coming year.  Keep an eye out for the announcement of the next book sale.
