WRITER OF THE WEEK  Born in New York City but ultimately making his home in Vermont, Noah Perrin wrote books about history and numerous essays about rural life and hobby farming.

 

ADULT COLORING CIRCLE  Bring a little more color into your life this Thursday the 20th at 2 PM.  Coloring sheets and crayons will be provided by the Friends of the Library, or you can bring in your current project and work in good company.

 

MOVIE NIGHT  Watch a recent super hero sequel with a nearly infinite cast this Thursday the 20th at 5:30 PM.  Snacks and drinks are available courtesy of the Friends of the Library.

WRITER OF THE WEEK  Gail Parent has written for some of television’s best comedy shows, from The Carol Burnett Show to The Mary Tyler Moore Show through The Golden Girls.

 

MAKE MUSIC  Children ages 7 – 12 can learn about the science of sound and make a variety of musical instruments to take home this Wednesday the 15th at 11 AM.

 

ADULT COLORING  Join us for relaxation, color, and camaraderie this Thursday the 16th at 2 PM.  All materials will be provided courtesy of the Friends of the Library.

 

MOVIE NIGHT  Come watch a recent Steven Spielberg film filled with 1980s pop culture references and sci-fi action this Thursday the 16th at 5:30 PM.  Popcorn and drinks are provided.

WRITER OF THE WEEK  Chaim Potok was a writer, editor, teacher, and army chaplain.  His best-known novels include My Name is Asher Lev and The Chosen, both exploring the intersection of Hasidic Judaism and secular culture.

 

HOLIDAY  The library will be closed next Monday the 19th in honor of Presidents Day.  We will be open the rest of the week as usual.

 

VALENTINES  Children can come make Valentines for family and friends this Tuesday the 13th at 3:30 PM.
