FAMILY BOOK CLUB This Thursday the 30th at 5 PM we’ll be discussing Roald Dahl’s Matilda and, since we can’t move things with our minds, trying to move things with magnets instead.  Curious new families are always welcome.

JUNE EVENTS  Children ages 7 and up can make a pinwheel on Wednesday the 12th at 4 PM, and children ages 5 and up can bring their own item of clothing to tie-dye on Saturday the 22nd at 1 PM (in the park, weather permitting.)  Movie Night, featuring everyone’s favorite plastic building blocks, will be Thursday the 20th at 5:30 PM.  Our Family Book Club selection for June is Roller Girl by Victoria Jamieson.  We’ll be making t-shirts and inventing our own roller derby names on Thursday the 27th at 5 PM – new families are always welcome.  For adults, we’re making book-page roses on Thursday the 13th at 2 PM and holding Social Hour on the preceding Wednesday the 12th also at 2 PM.  Drop-in computer help will be on Saturdays the 1st and 15th from 11 AM – 12 PM and Tuesday the 25th at 6 PM.

SUMMER READING  Sign-ups start this week.  Drop into the library to pick up a reading log and check out the awesome prizes we have for toddlers through teenagers.  This year’s theme is A Universe of Stories, so look for fun space-themed programming in July and August.
